Earlier Cinema Batalha was called as High Life Cinema. It is a very popular cinema and concert venue inaugurated on 3rd June 1974. It includes two auditoriums, two bars and a terrace restaurant.

Coliseu do Porto is one of the most popular landmarks of Oporto, and a prestigious venue for cultural and music events. São João National Theater ( Visit Site )
The construction of São João National Theater was started in 1794. The theater came to shape between 1796 and 1798, as well named to São João (St John) in honor of Prince-regent João. It was destroyed by a fire in 1908 and then reconstructed in 1911. Initially it was dedicated to opera and theatre, but it became a cinema house in 1932.

Rivoli Theater (Portugal) ( Wikipedia )
A municipal theater in Oporto was built in 1913 as a new theater called Teatro Nacional. After years of alternations, the new Rivoli Theater appeared in 1923. The building was remodeled to cinema, and also hosted opera, dance, theater and music programs. In 2012, the theater was handed over to the City Council of Oporto, and is managed by a private theater company.
